go-e Hits the Half-Million Milestone: 500,000 Wallboxes for Smart EV Charging Delivered

The Austrian manufacturer of EV charging solutions is celebrating a landmark achievement: half a million go-e wallboxes have now been delivered across Europe. Even more good news: readers of a trade magazine voted go-e the number one brand in all three wallbox categories.

Feldkirchen, Carinthia (23 September, 2026) – go-e, one of Europe's top 10 providers of smart AC charging solutions for electric vehicles, has two reasons to celebrate this week: a major production milestone and a standout reader's-choice win. A full half a million charging points have now been produced by go-e, actively contributing to the mobility and energy transition across Europe. At the same time, go-e's standing as Germany's most popular wallbox brand has been reconfirmed by electricar magazine's 2026 reader poll, the results of which were published recently.

"500,000 wallboxes sold for electric cars and plug-in hybrids confirm our strategy of offering the right AC charging solution for every need," says go-e's CEO Erik Yesayan, "including the demands of mobile charging, corporate fleets, single- and multi-family homes, or commercial use in hotels and at charge point operators (CPOs)." Yesayan points to another key success factor: the ease with which go-e wallboxes integrate – right up to seamless full integration – with many of the leading management, building technology, energy and billing systems on the market. "That's why we owe particular thanks to our growing partner network across Europe. Our partners play a vital role in helping us set our sights on producing the next half a million wallboxes." Notable international go-e partners include Kraken Technologies, Octopus Energy, and E.ON. 

Yesayan also expresses special gratitude to the readers of the German edition of trade magazine electricar. In the magazine's reader poll – published on the independent test and comparison platform DIE TESTER – readers firmly ranked go-e first in all three home charging categories: best stationary wallbox, best portable wallbox and best smart wallbox. "Every one of these votes is the finest confirmation of our work," says Yesayan. "These are the people who use our charging stations every day and know exactly what they're talking about."

For go-e, these recent achievements are both a validation and a mandate, Yesayan concludes: "To keep making smart, cost-saving, grid-friendly charging as simple and connected as possible – and, in doing so, to keep actively contributing to the energy transition."

Incidentally, the Austrian manufacturer's 500,000th wallbox is taking a special path: go-e is donating it to a charitable organisation located right next to the company's headquarters and production site.
