2025: Growth, Innovation, and New Partnerships Mark a Successful Anniversary Year
2025 was a remarkable year in many respects for Austrian wallbox manufacturer go-e. Despite generally challenging economic conditions, the company continued to grow, entered new markets, and further strengthened its leading position in the home charging segment in Germany and Austria – all in the year of its tenth anniversary..
“In times when many companies are fighting to safeguard their locations and maintain stability, go-e was able to expand both structurally and in terms of personnel. We welcomed many new colleagues to our team and strengthened our market positions across Europe,” says CEO Erik Yesayan. “That’s something we’re especially proud of in this anniversary year.”
Among the year’s highlights were several awards, including the Vision Mobility Award for the readers’ favourite AC wallbox, which Yesayan accepted in person at the IAA Mobility trade fair in Munich. At the same event, go-e also announced the launch of a strategic cooperation with European energy group E.ON.
“2025 was a year of strong partnerships,” Yesayan continues. “We not only established new collaborations with E.ON, GridX, and EcoFlow, but also deepened existing ones.”
go-e also made important advances in its product portfolio in 2025. With the go-e Charger PRO 11 kW, which is ISO 15118 V2X-ready and MID-compliant, the company is addressing key requirements for home and fleet charging, cost allocation for company cars, and the growing demand for solutions in multi-unit buildings. In addition, the company introduced the go-e Portal, a web-based software tool for managing charging infrastructure in company car parks and underground garages.
This success was supported by positive developments in the e-mobility market overall. According to the ACEA, battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) reached a market share of 16.9% in the EU during the first eleven months of 2025. This momentum drives the demand for intelligent charging solutions, notes Yesayan: “After a somewhat restrained 2024, e-mobility really took off again in 2025. Our mission to deliver sustainable and user-friendly solutions is now more relevant than ever.”
go-e has ambitious plans for the coming year. Together with 12 partners from industry and research, the company is leading the “Shared Charging” research project, funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) with €6.4 million. The aim is to develop a basis for affordable, grid-friendly charging solutions powered by renewable energy for wide public use. In addition, the company’s product portfolio will be expanded to include a legally compliant metering version of the go-e Charger PRO, a 22 kW model, and a variant with a Type 2 socket.
Looking ahead, Yesayan emphasises: “The latest EU decisions show that the road to zero-emission mobility may take a few more turns – but the direction is clear. Europe needs intelligent, user-friendly, and affordable charging infrastructure. As a European manufacturer, this remains our mission and our responsibility.”
