go-e: Management Change at the Top of Germany's Market Leader for Private EV Charging Solutions
Erik Yesayan New CEO of Austrian Wallbox Manufacturer go-e, Former CEO Susanne Palli Focusing on International Expansion.
Feldkirchen, Austria (16/1/2025) - Management roles within wallbox manufacturing company go-e are changing with the start of 2025: Erik Yesayan, go-e’s CFO, responsible for the company's financing and cash flow, is taking over as sole CEO while Susanne Palli, previously Managing Director, will be tackling a new strategic role within the company: As Chief Expansion Officer (CXO), she will push the company’s internationalisation agenda. Susanne Palli and Erik Yesayan have shared management since October 2024 to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities and have worked together since 2017.
“As a locally producing European company, one of the advantages we have over our competitors from China is that we can react quickly to new or changed requirements as we develop and produce both our products’ software and hardware ourselves,” explains CEO/CFO Erik Yesayan. “While the world is moving towards e-mobility at high speed, the European market has developed more diffusely over the past two years. Germany, for example, has seen declining registration figures for electric vehicles, while in countries such as Denmark and Belgium, the proportion of BEVs has increased significantly. European politicians should send clear signals in favour of e-mobility, or else German car manufacturers might continue to have a hard time in this competitive market. The highest revenues are achieved in markets where a clear course toward electric cars has been set,” adds the new go-e CEO.
‘In an increasingly interconnected world, internationalisation is one of the keys to economic growth,’ emphasises Susanne Palli, ’from now on, I will focus my efforts as CXO on new markets to enthral other countries with our idea of a convenient, smart and affordable charging solution that can be perfectly integrated into other sectors. We already have partners in more than 30 countries on the European continent. For example, we have recently established go-e as a brand in Finland and Sweden. Now we are about to communicate the benefits of go-e as a charging solution to broad target groups in Italy, Denmark and the Benelux countries.’
In 2024, go-e could successfully adapt its cost structures to European market conditions, presumably resulting in a positive company balance sheet report, unlike many of its competitors in these economically challenging times for the industry.
