How long does it take to charge a Renault ZOE with a wallbox?

Charging with a portable wallbox (AC)

The charging time of a Renault ZOE ZE40 at a portable wallbox is approximately 2.36 - 4.21 hours. 

For the calculation, the go-eCharger HOME+ 11 kW and 22 kW and the go-e Charger Gemini flex 11 kW and 22 kW were used as charging stations.

Charging with a portable wallbox (AC) and adapter*

In the case of the 11 kW charging stations, a CEE red 32 A adapter, a CEE blue 16 A adapter, and an adapter for the household socket with a charging capacity of 10 A were used for the calculation.

The charging time of the Renault ZOE at the 11 kW wallbox is approximately 4 to 18 hours, depending on the adapter used.

Adapter*: only original go-e adapters are to be used for charging with go-e Charger. 

Charging with a stationary wallbox (AC)

The go-eCharger HOMEfix 11 kW and 22 kW and the go-e Charger Gemini 11 kW and 22 kW were used to calculate the charging time of the Renault ZOE using a stationary AC charging station.

For the single-phase connection we have used a maximum current of 16 A.

When charging with the stationary 11 kW wallbox and single-phase connection, the charging time of the Renault ZOE is 11.64 hours. With a three-phase connection, the charging time is 4.21 hours.
