We are looking for an IT Administrator who can take care of the IT infrastructure of our Berlin office, where our development team is based.

Only applicants with valid working permit in Germany and based in Berlin (or willing to relocate to Berlin) are eligible for this position. We envisage a 20-30 hours part-time working schedule for this job.

Your area of responsibility

  1. Take ownership of the IT infrastructure to ensure the productivity of our development teams
  2. Manage installation, configuration, operation and lead network-related activities
  3. Organize the hardware inventory and procurement process for all teams
  4. Perform vendor/product research and recommend new solutions
  5. Continuously improve the security standards of our company infrastructure and processes
  6. Offer technical support to our Berlin employees 

It would be great if you have

  • Strong experience with the Linux command line environment
  • Experience with Computer networking
  • Experience in designing, deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure: networks in general, WiFi, Servers & Hypervisors
  • Excited to work independently and take ownership of your domain
  • Able to communicate openly and in an effective manner
  • Enthusiastic about your field
  • Excited to work with new and interesting technologies
  • Fluent in English at C1-Level

It would be even better if you have 

  • Degree or active studies in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with the following equipment and tools: vmWare vSphere, Huawei AirEngine, Ubiquiti Unifi Switching, PfSense, Terraform, Wireguard
  • Experience with Windows-Domain administration
  • Experience with Ekahau Wifi-Planning
  • Intermediate German language skills
