As a  R&D Project Manager (m/f/x), you’ll take charge of exciting and innovative projects. You’ll be in full control: from planning and implementation through to successful completion. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive progress and innovation while ensuring that quality, costs, and deadlines stay in balance.

Your responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Communication: Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure milestones are met, fostering strong communication and team alignment
2. End-to-End Project Control: Actively steer projects regarding quality, costs, and deadlines across the entire R&D lifecycle
3. Progress & Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks early, and implement decisive mitigation measures
4. Scope & Documentation: Define project scope, plan milestones, and ensure clean, structured project documentation
5. Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular, crystal-clear status updates and precise project KPIs to internal and external stakeholders
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with adjacent departments such as Procurement and Production to ensure seamless product delivery

Your Profile

• Leadership & Hands-on Mentality: A strong leadership mindset combined with high self-initiative and a pro-active "get-things-done" attitude
• Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and conflict-resolution skills; ability to push things forward even in difficult situations
• Project Management Expertise: Solid experience in managing complex projects, including proficiency with standard PM tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello)
• Structured & Detail-Oriented: A highly structured way of thinking and acting, allowing you to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure while keeping an eye on details
• Willingness to Travel: Ready to travel between our locations in Feldkirchen, Graz, and Berlin (approx. 12 times a year)
• Language Skills: Fluent English (C1 level minimum) is a must-have, as it is our primary company and project language. German is a plus but not mandatory

Nice-to-Have

• Practical Technical Background: A technical degree or equivalent practical training is a strong plus. You should naturally think in logical sequences and work close to the actual result rather than in abstract theories.
• Industry Experience (Plus): Prior experience in R&D for hardware and embedded systems—ideally within EV charging solutions—is an absolute bonus, but not a strict requirement

The collective bargaining agreement for the electrical and electronics industry applies. Your salary will be based on your professional experience and qualifications.
