As a Sourcing Manager, you play a key role in turning our product designs into reality by building and developing a strong, reliable electronic and mechanical supply base. You ensure that our supplier network meets the highest standards in quality, cost efficiency, and scalability to support our growth.
Working closely with the Design Team, you are responsible for identifying and selecting the right suppliers and involving them early in the development process. By integrating sourcing expertise into the design phase, you help optimize product performance, manufacturability, and cost from the very beginning.

Your area of responsibility

1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company goals, cost targets, and supply chain requirements
2. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and technical capability
3. Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners
5. Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement (cost, quality, delivery)
6. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams
7. Conduct market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks
8. Manage and support supplier audits, including compliance with quality and regulatory standards (e.g. ISO, RoHS, REACH)
9. Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering activities
10. Support new product development (NPI) with supplier selection and early involvement
11. Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
12. Ensure contractual compliance and maintain proper documentation
13. Stay updated on market trends, raw material developments, and supplier landscape

It would be great if you have

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing electronic and mechanical components 
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate and collaborate across cross functional teams at all levels throughout the organization
• Technical affinity and understanding of production processes for electronic and mechanical components
• Analytical skills to identify cost drivers, savings potential and continuous improvement 
• Experience in leading technical negotiations through should costing models
• Excellent spoken and written English

It would be even better if you have

• Understanding of Engineer-to-cost / Design-to-cost, NPI and Product Life Cycle and working evidence
• Contract management and compliance working knowledge 
• Experience in working in the electronics industry
• Designed consumer goods yourself
• Already worked with different suppliers in Europe and Asia
