We are looking for an experienced freelance content writer to support the wallbox manufacturer brand go-e with high-quality blog content. The focus lies on e-mobility, more specifically on EV charging technologies and infrastructure.

Requirements for Content Writer – Focus on E-Mobility & EV Charging Infrastructure

Technical Requirements

  1. Several years of experience in copywriting, ideally in a technical or innovation-driven environment.
  2. Proven experience in the field of e-mobility.
  3. Ideally with in-depth knowledge of electric vehicle charging technologies as well as topics such as charging infrastructure, wallboxes, smart charging, etc. (an advantage, but not mandatory).
  4. Ability to present complex technical matters precisely, clearly, and user-oriented.
  5. Experience in research at an expert level (data, trends, regulations, standards of e-mobility).

Textual & Creative Requirements

  1. High competence in storytelling to make technical content accessible and engaging.
  2. Ability to quickly adapt the tonality of go-e: fresh, smart, technically competent, easy to understand/access.
  3. Danish native speaker and thus confident writing skills in Danish at a native (C2) level.
  4. Very good English skills (B2–C1) are a must.
  5. Ability to create blog articles that are target-group-oriented and support conversion.
  6. Consistent use of structured formats (H1/H2/H3, bullet points, tables, info boxes, etc.).
  7. Ability to implement blog post content guidelines.

Working Style & Soft Skills

  1. Independent, reliable, and structured way of working.
  2. Willingness for regular sparring.
  3. Experience with content briefings, editorial plans, review and feedback loops.
  4. Proactive communication of research needs, uncertainties, or optimization potential.

Optional, but Advantageous

  1. Knowledge of European regulations, safety standards, or technical norms of charging infrastructure.
  2. Experience in content marketing for tech or energy companies.
  3. Experience with current SEO standards.

Regular Collaboration Process

  • The go-e SEO team provides blog article topics and a detailed briefing for each blog article. Depending on the project, content is either created from scratch for a specific market or localized based on an existing English version. After submission, the text will be reviewed by go-e. Revisions may be required (typically 2 - 4 iterations). Projects are managed via a project management software, with communication primarily handled online (e.g. e-mail, Slack, Google meet).

  • Once we have reviewed your application, we will arrange a 30-minute interview with you if your qualifications are in line with our requirements.
  • As part of the process, you will be asked to complete a test blog post (with about 1200-1600 words) to help us better assess your writing skills. 
  • If everything is a good fit for both sides, you can start right away.
