go-e steps up cooperation with Fronius
go-e and Fronius today decided to establish a long-term strategic partnership. The fast-growing charging infrastructure specialist go-e benefits from the participation of an experienced partner and Fronius develops into a major player in e-mobility. The common goal is to cooperate more closely in areas ranging from procurement and quality management to joint innovation projects, to pool resources, and to realize joint successes in the field of e-mobility more quickly.
The two internationally operating companies with headquarters in Austria intend to realize synergies on the basis of the cooperation. These exist primarily in the areas of operations, as well as with regard to research and development. By acquiring a stake in go-e, Fronius is combining its high standards of quality and many years of industrial experience with the innovative power of the dynamic scale-up company from Carinthia.
For the products resulting from the partnership, Fronius’ well-known high quality standards serve as a benchmark. The intelligent solutions for e-mobility, made in Austria, focus on innovative functionalities that are also intended to inspire sustainable action. The company go-e continues to operate independently with its own brand, product lines and service. It will steadily expand these in order to continue to convince with innovative solutions in the future.
Distribution of go-e currently takes place in around 20 European countries. In addition to its own charging technology such as the go-eCharger, the company also manufactures in the south of Austria the Fronius e-mobility products such as the Fronius Wattpilot. Both companies are gearing their processes toward high value creation in Europe in order to do even more justice to the sustainability concept of electromobility for the benefit of all people, especially customers.
The Fronius Solar Energy Business Unit (BU) has been developing energy solutions for photovoltaics since 1992 that cost-efficiently and intelligently generate, store, distribute and consume energy from solar power. More than 24 Solar Energy subsidiaries, an export quota of over 93 percent and a total output of more than 21 gigawatts of installed inverters speak for themselves.
