Due to the worldwide shortage of electronic components, the wallbox manufacturer go-e has to register 48 employees for short-time work as of 1 October. This affects employees from production and warehousing at the Feldkirchen site in Carinthia.

About go-e

go-e GmbH was founded in 2015 as part of a Kickstarter project and in 2017 presented the go-eCharger HOME+, the world's first smart wallbox for charging electric cars that can also be used on the move. The company, which currently employs around 115 people, has since developed into an internationally established supplier for the production and sale of accessories for e-mobility, in particular intelligent AC charging stations for electric cars with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW.
